Organizers of PhotoshopWorld
Conference & Expo are proud to host the first ever mobile onsite Adobe
Certified Expert (ACE) testing which was offered at its Photoshop event in
Orlando last Sept. 1 and 2. Sponsored by Adobe Systems Incorporated, this was
the first time mobile testing has been made available at a conference venue and
outside of Adobe’s test centers in the U.S. As part of this special offer,
Adobe Systems provided PhotoshopWorld attendees a 25 percent discount off the
cost of certification testing making the cost only $ 112.50.
Conference attendees have
demonstrated their proficiency in Adobe software products such as Photoshop,
Illustrator, InDesign, GoLive, Acrobat Reader, After Effects, or Premiere Pro
by passing the ACE test at PhotoshopWorld. Early ACE testing registration is
being handled online at www.pearsonvue.com/adobe, and only
available to PhotoshopWorld Conference attendees. Complete Adobe ACE testing
registration details was made online at www.photoshopworld.com.
Dell provided five Dell Precision Workstations for the ACE testing. The testing
schedule was provided for 15 testing slots per day which started on Sept. 1 and
ended on Sept. 2. Carrie Cooper, training partner relations manager with Adobe
Systems managed the testing sessions. Because the ACE test is computer-based,
test results were immediately available to testers once they complete the test.
To help prepare ACE candidates for
their ACE exam, PhotoshopWorld attendees have taken a half-day, pre-conference
ACE Boot Camp on Aug. 31. Dave Cross, senior developer/education and curriculum
for NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals) and Adobe certified
instructor, was the one who taught the ACE Boot Camp reviewing test objectives
and administered a practice test.
With 64 classes to choose from,
attendees were able to get the best, real-world Photoshop content and training
offered at the biggest Photoshop conference in the world. Certainly the First Mobile ACE Testing was such a smashing
success.
